Currently, Dr. A, “The Soul Doula” is walking fully in her calling as a Holistic Wellness Practitioner. Her online wellness boutique, A2 Global Wellness, helps people all over the world navigate through life’s turbulence so that they can manifest their vision and prosper in their purpose. The Life In 8D signature programming guides leaders to abundance across all 8 dimensions for successful holistic living. Her gift helps people to create a path to spiritual freedom allowing them to experience abundance in every area.
Rev. Dr. Avery "Lady A" Atkinson is a thought leader on cultural identity, spirituality, and wellness. After attending both Hampton University & Norfolk State University, Lady A went on to add a Doctorate Of Ministry to her Bachelor’s of Social Work. As a 5th generation seer, this mixture of experience, wisdom, and a thirst for learning heightened her distinct ability to positively impact the lives of the people she interacts with.
She started her ministry-marketplace entrepreneurial journey while attending Hampton University with the launch of Think!Kingdom Consulting. Her career continued to grow after graduating and led her to life overseas in South Korea where her company & ministry grew. As a result, she expanded her business into Lady A Global Consulting, which housed strategic planning, brand building, business funding & travel empowerment events for clients & her digital community at large.
In addition to speaking on her extensive passion for travel and empowerment, her three published books on prayer, singleness, and affirmations are regular parts of her speaking platform. From her local platform, she happily pours into the congregation & local community of Birmingham, Alabama in her servant-leader role as Wellness Pastor of The Hill Community Church.

Lady A took her passion for cultural exchange and global education back to her hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina where she encourages first-generation travelers to live a “Passport Life”. Revamped from the previous 1040Global Network, Passport Life is a travel and lifestyle brand whose philanthropic arm, Passport University, pours into the lives of HBCU and minority students who dream of traveling internationally but do not have the resources to do so. That’s where Lady A comes in. She gifts these students with passports, travel scholarships, and cultural intelligence training to explore global leadership through travel. Although a young business, Passport University has directly impacted five HBCU campuses, hosted a Mid-Eastern HBCU Global Impact Conference, been highlighted in the SIT ‘WeGlobal’ Education Conference, and has been a platform for educational workshops at Compton College and California State University, Long Beach. Most Recently, Lady A and Passport University made a splash at the White House Initiative on HBCUs by ranking Top 5 and being featured in ESPN’s culture and college segment “The Undefeated”.
After publishing Awesome Truths: Confessions of a Believer, the book she wrote while living in South Korea, Dr. A expanded her reach in the States by speaking at a host of colleges, churches, and organizations in North Carolina, New York, the DMV area, as well as Los Angeles. She tailored some of these messages from her time on the missions field in Asia. No matter the audience, Lady A’s message is consistent in its authenticity, which is also evident in her lifestyle. “I live my life nice and loud, even if I'm the only one listening!"
